NEWARK, DELAWARE, July 21, 2020, The Delaware Coalition of Nurse Practitioners donates $500 to the Delaware Food Bank to support the increased need of food supply to those affected by the COVID 19 pandemic.

Brandy Magee  MSN, APRN, FNP-C, President of the DCNP and Patty Rowley MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, Treasurer of the DCNP presented a check to the Newark food bank.

“As an organization, the board felt it was important to support the community and their nutritional needs during the pandemic. Poor nutrition can contribute to many chronic health problems, which we try to prevent as nurse practitioners,” said Patty Rowley MSN, APRN, FNP-BC.

The vision of the Delaware Coalition of Nurse Practitioners' is to foster access for citizens of Delaware to nurse practitioners who are free to practice without unnecessary barriers in the State of Delaware.
