2024 AANP State Award for Excellence Recipients

The prestigious AANP State Award for Excellence, comprised of two separate awards, is granted annually to NP's and NP advocates.

The NP State Award for Excellence is given to an individual NP in each state who has demonstrated excellence in clinical practice and has shown efforts to advance the image, profile and visibility of NP's at the state level. Congratulations to the 2024 recipient- Heather Milea.

The Advocate State Award for Excellence is given to an individual in each state who has made a significant contribution toward increasing awareness and recognition of NP's. Congratulations to the 2024 recipient-Representative Melissa Minor-Brown.

-All recipients will receive full compensation to the 2024 AANP National Conference.

-Recipients who are current AANP members will receive a 1-year free membership at their renewal date.

-Non-AANP recipient members will receive a complimentary 1-year AANP membership.

-All recipients will receive a complimentary 1-night stay at a conference hotel for the Night of Salute to the States Award Ceremony reception where they will be recognized at the AANP National Conference in Nashville in June 2024.
