Hello Valued DCNP Member.
As you may know, DCNP is a member driven organization which has been in existence since 2010. Over the past 15 years, the DCNP has been actively advocating for the expansion of nurse practitioner practice and improved access to healthcare in Delaware. DCNP's advocacy was critical in obtaining full practice authority for nurse practitioners and reimbursement parity from 3rd party insurance companies for psych-mental health NPs. However, our work is not done and the DCNP needs members to participate in the organization if we are to continue supporting and expanding NP practice in Delaware. So, if you enjoy the dinners and education offerings at our monthly dinner meetings or received CEs by attending the annual pharmacy conference and would like to see these programs continue, or have ideas for new programs, please self-nominate for a position on the Board of Directors in our upcoming elections. To encourage nominations, the DCNP Board of Directors is pleased to announce the nomination period for the 2026 DCNP elections has been extended to 11:59 pm on Monday, December 22, 2025. The following positions up for the 2026 DCNP elections are the President-elect, Treasurer, Southern Chapter Coordinator and two positions on the Nominations Committee.
